“You can cross the mountains, the oceans, the tragedies, the difficulties, the responsibilities with only one thing, self reliance.  Fear not, my dear ones; the antidote for fear is self-reliance.”  (Yogi Bhajan)

Spiritual “Awakenings” sound wonderful, but for some, there are confusing “side effects” that our bodies and nervous systems may go through that can cause concern and fear.  This workshop – an afternoon of information, yoga, meditation and gong – discusses some of the more challenging aspects that happen when our body/mind/soul system comes online in a body or mind that is not prepared for it, and provides some practical tools to help you find your balance in the unknown.

True went through a dramatic “spontaneous awakening” that caused some extreme and concerning physical symptoms.  Though she saw many doctors, and underwent many treatments, it was not until she discovered Kundalini Yoga and Meditation that she found balance and relief.  Awakenings do not necessarily happen in an instant, The tools she provides will help to manage the fluctuations of your body and glandular system, mind and nervous system, and the associated emotions to allow you to better navigate the process.

Tools include Kundalini kriyas, pranayama and meditations, Ayurvedic and other food wisdom, as well as practical practices such as feeding your senses, creating sanctuary and space, where and how to seek help, and how to deal with friends and family who may not understand what you are going through.

If you are finding yourself in a confusing or uncomfortable place in your awakening or practice, please reach out to True via RA MA.  She is available for counseling and/or conversations to help you understand and find your own balance.
