On February 26th, we’re graced with a powerful and potent New Moon / Solar Eclipse in Pisces, which is ruled by Neptune, a planet that embodies the subconscious mind and illusions. With Pisces / Neptune in the mix, we can begin to question constructs about ourselves, the world, who we are, who we think we are, and decide if they’re serving us or not. Are they giving us energy or taking away energy from us? Do they make us feel fearful or empowered?
Solar Eclipse represents the end of one cycle and the beginning of a new cycle. So we essentially have a double portal into new beginnings with the New Moon + Solar Eclipse. It’s a time when we can change constructs, old habits, and stories by creating new plans of intention and action. Intention doesn’t just mean write a pretty list and hope something happens. Intention means, “I intend to do.” In order to make changes we have to have a clear vision of what we want to experience and create our intentions, our actions, of how we plan to get to our destination.
And most importantly, we use the Kundalini Yoga to give us enough Prana, lifeforce, in the system so we have the energy, nervous system strength, and vitality to take the actions to make the changes we want to make without letting anything get in the way. Don’t miss out on Guru Jagat’s New Moon / Solar Eclipse in Pisces class on Sunday!
